P4C is based on the exercise of polyphonic dialogue in a community engaged in reflective activity adopting a philosophical style. It can be an end in itself and also can have useful applications, both as a teaching strategy and as a helping relationship in various social contexts (companies, prisons, hospitals, etc.).
The seminar includes 46 hours of face-to-face training. This six-day community activity, led by experts, involves building a "Community of Inquiry," monitoring cognitive and relational processes.
The activities are divided into two paths:
Path #1: Introduction to the philosophical practice of community. Focus: reflective practice and acquisition of knowledge and methodological skills of P4C.
Path #2: Reserved for experts in P4C and philosophical practices. Focus: Insights into philosophically relevant topics, theory and practice of polyphonic dialogue, philosophical writing.

SCHEDULE
Monday 14 July (5.30-7.30 pm): online meeting on the Zoom platform;
Thursday 17 (4:00 pm): opening and model-sessions of practice at Villa Altieri;
Friday 18, Saturday 19, Monday 21 (9-13 am and 4-8 pm): Practice sessions, methodological reflections, inquiry and in-depth activities.
Sunday 20: Visiting Rome (free time).
Tuesday 22 (9 a.m.-1 pm): Closing activities, lunch and departures.
Costs: Training: € 340;
Accommodation at Villa Altieri for 5 nights:
- full board in a double room: € 310;
- half board in a double room: € 270;
- supplement for single room: +€ 150.
The option for a double room is recommended, both for costs and to encourage informal personal relationships. Matches are made at the explicit request of the interested parties, or based on age.
Participation in training activities is allowed even without an overnight stay at Villa Altieri.
